Benefits of Loving Housework

After One Week Of Housework Loving
I had carved out enough time to enjoy some guilt free activities
100% worth it

Time spent with Big L without trying to manage several tasks at the same time
Quality time for both of us

Opportunity to try Annabel Langbein's recipe for Caramelized Onions which takes 45 mins to cook
So Delicious, 45 mins well spent!
Even better when made into a Caramelized Onion and Feta Tart for lunch- yum!

Time to make my Own Pastry rather than having to use store bought..

Guilt free time in the Garden
Chilli plants and Cape Gooseberries arriving soon, hopefully!

Night away camping with the kids

Time to sit on the sunny deck enjoying knitting a cardy for MYSELF and lazily pouring over the pages of one of by Birthday Treats- Ladies a Plate... Fabulous!
While listening to sandpit conversations...

This New Years Resolution might be worth sticking to...

Tomorrow Big L starts Morning Kindy, for some reason I feel like my heart is being squeezed. Where is all the time going? It is hard to start handing him over to the world more and more, trusting others with my Precious Boy.
Oh I don't know if I am ready...

  1. I cried on each of my kids first day of kindy. Don't worry, you're among friends. :) It's hard to let them go, but trust that you've picked the best place for him and he will really thrive and flourish. We saw huge developments (good ones!) in Elliot when he started kindy.
Also, caramelised onion and feta tart? Sounds AMAZING!

    1. Thanks for your kind words Jess! Big L of course LOVED it! I think this will be a great dynamic for our family, after all the babies have never had me to themselves before :) xxx
