Bloomin' Gorgeous!

Beautiful day today. Beautiful enough to call a reluctant gardener like myself out to the outdoors. And while my knitting/crochet hands blistered as I trimmed hedges and listened to the kids happily playing on the water slide, I thought about what a lucky lady I am. And luckier yet that despite blisters I managed to finish my crochet flower cushion! And it is gorgeous! This has been my biggest crochet undertaking and it has been completely addictive (must remind myself occasionally to do some child-minding). I think I need another one...

Thank you Lucy from Attic24 for the fantastic tutorial!

  1. Wow, that's beautiful. Is the top picture of it in two parts and the bottom of it put together? That must've taken forever!

  3. What a great spin on the Attic 24 version - I've just finished a multi-coloured one, but I'm liking the black VERY much!!! Might have to do another one ...

  4. Yes the top photo is the cushion in two parts :)

Ruth I found this pattern after Lois told me about your creation and I was curious to see what it looked like, I then totally fell in love with it! Such a great and addictive pattern... currently working on my second one, because one just inst enough! x
